Emmanuel Itoya Ijewere FCCA FCA FCIT

Mr Ijewere is a Chartered Accountant with a wealth of experience spanning over five decades. He is also a tax expert and currently the Group CEO of Messrs Ijewere & Co (Chartered Accountants). Mr Ijewere is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He began his professional career at Coopers & Lybrand in 1965. He was with D.O. Dafinone & Co (Chartered Accountants) from 1972-1979 and thereafter he formed Messrs ljewere & Co (Chartered Accountants).

An erudite professional and a distinguished personality, Mr Ijewere is a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Past President of Accounting Bodies of West Africa (ABWA), Past President-Institute of Directors (loD), Past National President, Nigeria Red Cross society (NRCS), Chairman- West African Sub-Region (3) of International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. He was the pioneer Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

Because of his willingness to serve always and be a noticeable part in the economy emancipation of Nigeria, Mr Ijewere is a member of a number of leading companies in Nigeria. For most of these companies, he is the Chairman Board of Directors. These companies include Best Foods Global (Nigeria) Limited- Chairman, Best Foods Fresh Farms Limited- Chairman, Apel Capital & Trust Limited- Chairman, Drum Resources (Nigeria) Limited- Chairman, Best Foods Multi Concept Limited- and Chairman, Countrywide Direct Mortgage Company Limited. He is a Director of Petra Microfinance Bank Limited, Director of Anchoria Investment & Securities Limited, Director of Pinehill Leasing Co. Limited, Director of Rosaab International (Ghana) Limited, Director of Rosaab International (Nigeria) Limited, Director of Gemini Pharmaceuticals Limited.

Mr ljewere has been involved in so many National Assignments. These include: Chairman, Modified Value Added Tax Committee (Committee that midwifed VAT in Nigeria)- Chairman, Agriculture and Food Security Commission (NESG)- Chairman, Community of Agricultural Stakeholders of Nigeria (CASON)-Chairman, Extractive Industries — Sub-Committee of National Council on Privatization- Member, Technical Committee on Privatization of Federal Government Companies and Parastatals- Member Honourary International Investment Council (under Barones Lynda Chalker)- Member, Agricultural Transformation Implementation Council (ATIC).

Felix A. Mohammed MBA FCA FCCA FCMA

Mohammed is a Chartered Accountant and an Educationist with over 30years of post qualification experience. He is a fellow of the three leading Accountancy bodies in the world. He had his MBA in Management from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management Controls from Southampton University England. He served the Nigerian Army in various capacities for a period of over 39 years before his voluntary retirement and was decorated with many service medals. He also won awards for Professional Excellence.

Mohammed is always at the vanguard of providing quality education to students. After acquiring his qualifications, Mohammed taught in some of the leading Accounting schools in London for the qualifying examinations of CIMA and ACCA. His taught subjects were Financial Management and Management Accounting and the students recorded over 90% pass rate.

He was a senior lecturer, Head of Department of Accountancy, and Deputy Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration where he graduated many students with Higher National Diploma (HND). These students in no distance future wrote and passed the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

He is a prolific writer and had contributed many articles and literature in the journals and magazine both locally and internationally.

Mohammed will surely bring to bear his wealth of experience in the operations and management of Citadel Business School in order to achieve its objectives.

Femi Renner Bsc Msc

Mr Femi Renner is the CEO of Biznet Communications, an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions provider based in the UK with a mission to provide cutting edge telecommunications and ICT penetration in Nigeria.

Mr Femi Renner in 1974- 1978 worked in the Feeds Production Unit, Agege and Fisheries Department, Victoria Island of Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources before proceeding to University of Maiduguri to study Geology.

In 1982- 1986 he worked as Hydro Geologist in Chad Basin Development Authority, Benin- Owena River Basin and the Federal Department of Water Resources (FDWR) in Nigeria. In these positions he supervised borehole drilling projects, borehole rehabilitation projects and river training programmes. While at FDWR he produced reports on activities of Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority. He served as Geologist on the Presidential Task Force for Rural Water Supply in Sokoto State.

In 1986, he attended the Water Engineering for Developing Countries (WEDC) course at Loughborough University where he got some exposure to alternative or ‘intermediate’ technologies appropriate for use in developing countries.

During his work in various organisation above, he observed that gulf exists between management and engineering departments in many organizations and this made him to register for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) studies. He has since worked as Accountant or Finance Officer in several public, private and charity sector institutions in London including International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), Science Museum, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, Nortel Networks- Private Waterhouse, to mention few. He has also worked as consultant on investment promotion programmes on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria in London and Paris.

As a way of giving back to community, he founded and he is the current Director of Africa 2000, a charity and Not for profit Organization that is registered in England and in Nigeria. The organization has partnered with National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) on poverty eradication programmes in Nigeria. Africa 2000 is actively campaigning for the creation of an investor friendly Sub Saharan Africa and the development of the industrial or real sector of the economy of this sub region as a path out of poverty. Femi believes that top quality accountants are the engine of this transformation hence the need for a World Class institution like Citadel Business School (CBS) in Nigeria.

Femi has worked tirelessly for the past three years to make sure that Citadel Business School becomes a reality in Nigeria. Olakunle A. Ogunbameru Msc Phd

Professor Ogunbameru is a professor of Sociology & Anthropology and Human Resource Management at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife. He has a teaching experience in the academia that is over 32 years. During these years till date he has taught both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and most of these students have been prize winners in examinations.

Professor Ogunbameru has supervised a lot of undergraduate projects and research projects both at MSc and PhD levels.

Professor Ogunbameru who started his lecturing appointment at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University in 1982 as a Graduate Assistance rose through the ranks to be a Professor in 2006. A remarkable achievement.

Professor Ogunbameru is a member of many professional bodies which include the Nigeria Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Nigerian Association of Sociology and Anthropology (NASA). International Sociological Association (ISA), Centre for Aging Health and Environment (CAHE). He is also a consultant to so many organizations which include Coopers & Lybrand Associates.

Professor Ogunbameru has attended so many conferences both locally and internationally where he presented over 15 papers which were adjudged to be among the best in the fields of study. He has also written and published over twenty articles in local and international journals and written over sixteen text books on various topics ranging from Sociology, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour to Pension Administration. Most of these books are a must read in higher institutions.

Professor Ogunbameru is a sociable personality who mixes with people easily irrespective of their status. He has contributed so much to the academia and the development of individual students and these attributes amongst others make him a valuable asset to Citadel Business School.

Steve Azaiki MBA PhD.

Professor Steve Azaiki is an erudite scholar, and a visiting Professor to various renowned universities in Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Nigeria. Professor Azaiki has attended so many courses and seminars in Harvard and Cambridge universities to mention but a few. He has written so many books and contributed a lot of articles in environmental and urban development.

Professor Azaiki is a champion of human capital development and human resource management which led to the establishment of the National Think- Tank which is made up of distinguished and eminent Nigerians for which he is the national Co-ordinator.

Professor Azaiki was the President of the world Environmental Foundation for Africa from 1994-2003.  He was also the Secretary to the Government of Bayelsa state for several years serving both the military and democratic governments.

Professor Azaiki has a great flair for nurturing students to maturity and for research methodology. This influenced his appointment as a member of the Governing Board of Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State.

Professor Azaiki wealth of experience in academia will assist in the development of Citadel Business School.

Prince Tom Iseghohi MBA CPA

Prince Iseghohi obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Bethune Cookman University in 1985. After a two year assignment as a senior analyst at Wells Fargo Bank he proceeded to obtain his MBA in Finance and International Business from Ohio State University in 1989. He passed the CPA exam in 1991 and obtained his marketing certification from the Duke Fuqua School of business in 1998. In 2005 he received Executive board certification from the Kellogg School of Business.

Prince Iseghohi is an experienced executive with more than 27 years of corporate business experience with leadership roles in Finance, Strategy, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Operations. He has banking experience in both commercial and investment banking.

He is currently the Executive Vice President of Hudson Group, a New York Based Transformational Consulting Firm. Prior to Hudson, he served as Group Managing Director of the Transformational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) Plc.

Prince Iseghohi has extensive experience in the global business arena as well as corporate experience in Africa. He has strong relationships in business and corporate environments in North America, Africa, Europe and the Far East. In addition, he has extensive political access at the ministerial and presidential levels in the global arena.

He has deep experience in multiple industries ranging from manufacturing to telecommunications, automotive, technology, manufacturing, consumer products and financial services.

Prince Iseghohi was the Chief Accounting Officer of American Express Company and was responsible for leading the critical financial processes for the company. Among other responsibilities, he ran the company’s disclosure committee, the CEO/CFO attestation process and was among a handful of individuals, including the CEO, CFO General Counsel and General Auditor, who were responsible for all external reporting decisions. He was the Co-Chair of the Corporate Diversity Council.

Adeyemi Abiola Adetunji BSc FCA

Mr. Adetunji is a fellow of the Institute of chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He has a   post qualification experience of over 29 years which have been spent in Auditing, Banking and management consultancy.

Mr. Adetunji is a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of many companies which include Netherwood consultant Limited, Brent Manpower Limited and he is also the Managing Partner of Adewuyi Adetunji & Co (a firm of Chartered Accountants).

Mr. Adetunji was a member of the 2011 Presidential Visitation Panel appointed by the National University Commission (NUC) for the University of Agriculture Abeokuta where he distinguished himself and contributed immensely towards the success of the panel.

Mr. Adetunji had been a member of many panels set by ICAN and other notable organizations including government agencies to find solutions to evolving problems to move these organizations forward. His contributions had been outstanding.

He has also presented papers at seminars, and conferences. As a consultant he has helped to set up many viable companies and nurtured them to maturity. He is also involved in training of employees for companies and a lot of these employees benefit immensely from the trainings.

Mr Adetunji will contribute to the growth of Citadel Business School.

Abisola Percival-Deigh BSc MBA FCA ACTI

Abisola graduated from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife in 1986 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1991. Abisola holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School (Pan African University) and is a member of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Abisola’s career spans over 23 years of audit, consultancy and accountancy services. She started her career with KPMG Audit (now Akintola Williams Deloitte and Touché) where she trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She worked in KPMG Audit for 15 years.

Abisola’s role at KPMG spanned auditing, consultancy and accountancy services for companies in various industries; including banking, oil & gas, manufacturing, telecommunications and insurance. Abisola left KPMG Audit in August 2002 as a Manager to join KPMG Professional services.

In KPMG Professional services, she championed the implementation of the KPMG Methodology for the Consumer Market Unit, and carried out various audit and consultancy services. She left KPMG Professional services in September 2003 for private practice.

She was a Managing Consultant, Integrand Consulting Limited. She also served as a Group Finance Controller for the Hygeia Health Management Organisation (HMO) /Lagoon Hospitals. She was involved in the Business and Finance process design, Development, Implementation and Monitoring for a small start-up company; she was also involved in Process Review, Redesign, Implementation and Monitoring of a small/medium size existing companies.

She conducted Financial Management trainings for accountants and non-accountants for small and medium scale companies; internal control, accounting and financial and best practice reviews; she prepare Business Plans for start ups and existing companies; and recruitment of accounting and other professional and non professional staff for companies in the telecommunications, health management, aviation, insurance brokers and leasing industries. Abisola is currently the Finance Controller of JOF Nigeria Limited.

Abisola has been involved in the training of future leaders in Finance, Accounting and Business Management for years. She has also presented thought provoking papers at seminars and symposia. She will surely be a valuable asset to Citadel Business School.

Uchenna Ifesinachi Erobu MBA FCA FCCA

Uche is a senior partner in Akintola Williams Deloitte. She joined Akintola Williams & Co in July 1977 and qualified as a chartered accountant same year. She holds an MBA from the University of Manchester Business School. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

She was a Manager in Akintola Williams & Co now Akintola Williams Deloitte in 1988 and became the first female Partner of the firm in May 1993. Following her admission into partnership in 1993, she reinvigorated the PSR (Professional Standards Review) department, which was moribund then. She was also in charge of the Risk & Independence functions of the firm up till 2001.
From 2001 to 2007, she became the head of the Financial Advisory Services department and at the same time overseeing the risk functions of the firm. Later in 2007, she was appointed the regional Reputation & Risk Partner for Deloitte West &Central Africa (WeCA) comprising Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and The Gambia. In June 2008, she became the Group Leader for Consumer Business and Transport (CBT) Service unit and a year later, in June 2009, she was appointed the Head of Audit for Deloitte WeCA.
She took up the strategic role of Audit Market Leader for Deloitte West & Central Africa (WeCA) in 2011. The responsibility stems from the urgent need for the firm to stamp the Deloitte identity in the markets in which it operates across the West & Central African region.

Uche was recognizes as one of the ‘top 50 women of Deloitte worldwide ‘in a publication that was released during the global celebration of international Women Day in 2006.
She has been a member of the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since May 2007 and currently the Chairman of IT Committee, Chairman of Members’ Education & Training Committee of Professional Examination.
She was the Deputy Chairman of Professional Practice Monitoring Committee (2007 to 2013),Chairman, Monitoring Initiative Sub-committee, Member of Technical , Research & Public Policy committee (2007 to 2009), Chairman, Budget & Law Reforms Sub-Committee, ICAN Examiner Setting/Moderation of Pool Question and Answers(1993 to 1997); Member, Student Training (1991 to 1995),; Member, Annual Dinner Sub- committee; Member , Professional Scale of fees Committee-1993; ICAN Assessor from 1982 to 1989, Paper presenter on ICAN Mandatory Continuing Professional Education . Barr Areke is a seasoned lawyer of proven standard and an expert in property, maritime, and communication laws. He is a distinguished Law lecturer and a Fellow of Certified Board of Administration of Nigeria. He has over 25 years experience in Law practice. Barr Areke is a valuable Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to Grand Citadel Group Limited.

Barr Areke taught both students of undergraduate and postgraduate for many years in some leading universities in Nigeria. He has also been involved in research work especially in Property Law. He has a lot of published articles and research works to his name in recognized journals and magazines.
